BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

By paying the Booking Fee, you agree to the following terms:

  • By paying the Booking Fee, I agree to the following terms:

  • Payment of a Booking Fee is required to secure and confirm the booking. No payment, no booking.

  • Minimum Booking Fee of $50/service/person which is striclty non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • If location is in the South West or in a location that requires more than 2 hours travel an additional 30% of the travel fee and any accommodation deposits (if required) is also applicable which is also non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Booking Fee of $50/pp per item is retained should numbers decrease. You may replace with another person if original person is no longer getting hair or makeup done. I.e booking paid for 5 x makeups. As long as there remains 5 ladies for makeup on the day, the booking deposit is taken from the balance. If numbers dercrease and there is only 4 makeups, then 1 x $50 is forfeited and not taken away from the balance, whilst 4 x $50 is.

  • Please ensure that all are are present and on time. Bookings are made for the duration outlined above. Should you require for us to stay longer due to lateness, this will incur a fee – or in some cases, this may not be possible as we may be booked for another job after, which is highly likely so please ensure that all who are having services done are there. If you are unsure what time a particular person is required to be there, please do not hesitate to ask. We do ensure we have booked plenty of time for you so we aren’t rushed. We also understand that from time to time unforeseen circumstances arises so we will do our best to cater for you.

  • *If you have to postpone your wedding/event/booking due to COVID Lockdown Bans ONLY in PERTH (ie bans on gatherings, or beauty sector working in PERTH) we have made this exception: Dates can be rescheduled ONCE to a later date without the booking fee being forfeited however NEW updated pricing may be applicable if the new date is a year or more away from the original date. IF I'm not available on the alternative date, a credit note to the booking fee amount will be allocated to use on another occasion - valid for a year from your booked wedding date. If any Booking fee for travel is required - the travel fee component is only allowed to be allocated towards travel. If location changes and travel is less than the booking fee taken - the balance is not refundable or transferable. Strictly no refunds will be offered. If you are cancelling due to lockdown or travel bans in or from other states - deposit is non refundable or transferable, especially if we in Perth are still able to operate/have events as per normal etc. As this date has been secured for you and as a business, we can still operate. In all other cases, any cancellations or reschedules due to sickness/ interstate or international travel bans etc - booking fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable. 

  • Should I/we be unavailable on the date of the event due to any unforeseen circumstances such as sickness, covid or an accident - All efforts for a suitable replacement will be made. However - if a replacement cannot be found - monies will be refunded. No further compensation will be made other than the refund of monies that has been paid.

  • If any persons has been in contact with anyone with Covid or is sick, please let us know ASAP. I/we retain the right to refuse servicing or attending a job that may have infected/sick clients.

  • TnCs may be subjected to change within reasonable means once Covid hits our state and borders are opened but clients will be advised within a reasonable period.

  • If a booking is cancelled within 1 month of the event date, the full amount owed will be payable upon our discretion and we have the right to invoice and request balance of payment to be payable within 14 days from cancellation notification.

HAIR STYLING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

  • If the style you’re wanting is or has Hollywood/VintageWaves be prepared to have hair extensions, especially if your hair doesn’t curl well or if you have fine hair (even if it is thick) - this style may not have the nice kinky waves that are a signature of this style. Hair extensions are proven to make this style work. We highly recommend having clip-in hair extensions to achieve the perfect desired look. Tapes or wefts also work if you have them already. If you need clip-ins, we have our own brand which can be rented for $120 (with a refundable $200 bond) or you can purchase them from $280.

  • For reference, 95% of the waves you see on our Instagram page utilises hair extensions.

  • If you choose to proceed without extensions just be wary we can’t guarantee that the waves will hold well or be as kinky as our normal style. If you’re happy with this precaution then we are happy to proceed without extensions, but just note I did mention this. 

  • If you have thick, coarse hair this is the only exception where extensions aren’t necessarily needed.

  • If you are having a trial, we have a wide selection of clip-ins extension colours in stock to trial and choose from so that we get the best match for your hair. From there we can determine what length, thickness and colour we need for you. We have two options: Purchase or Hire.

  • If we don’t have the colour/length you need we can order them in if we don’t have it in stock new. This option is for purchase only. 

  • Please note that extensions take about 2-3 weeks to arrive, so if you are wanting these please let us know ASAP so we can colour match your hair to our extension colour wheel and get them ordered for you.

  • Hire is only available with the colours and lengths we currently have on hand.

  • If you’re wanting to buy or hire and you’re not having a trial, please let us know prior to your appointment so we can colour match and make sure we have a set available for you for your day. 

  • When purchasing new hair extensions, it’s also best if they are washed and dried prior to their first use or styling. When buying or hiring a set through us - this service is complimentary - but in order for new hair extensions to be washed and dried prior to your appointment, you must let us know you want to have this option.

  • If you are planning on using your own hair extensions and already have some, please let us know so we can make sure they are the correct type for the style you want. We do not recommend buying high heat synthetic type extensions. They may be cheap, but we can't curl them and we will not style with them - especially if you’re wanting curls or waves. They must be 100% human hair. Please enquire with us before purchasing if you're unsure.


 

HAIR PREPARATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Please wash your hair the day/night before your appointment so that it is CLEAN, but COMPLETELY DRY. Shampoo twice making sure your roots are washed well, with minimal conditioner on the ends. RINSE WELL. Please avoid any serums or hair products as we will add that in as necessary when styling. If your hair is normally frizzy or curly, please blow-dry your hair straight with a round brush stretching it dry. DO NOT USE A STRAIGHTENER. 

  • Please do not come to your appointment with WET HAIR. Should your hair be wet (make sure roots are also dry before tying it for bed if washing at night) – extra time may be needed to dry it before we can style it, which will incur extra charges. 

  • IF blowdrying straight is a problem - and your hair is usually really frizzy or really curly and a style using your natural curls isn't what you're wanting - it is highly advisable to book in with a hairdresser the day before for a wash and blow-dry. Just remember to remind your stylist to NOT use a Straightener as above. 

  • Please ensure all members of your booking who are having their hair styled are aware of these hair preparation requirements.
